Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Azad holds Ph.D. in Information Technology from Finland. He joined IOU in 2015 and since then he has been working as the Head of the Information Technology Department. Dr. Azad has over 13 years of research and teaching experience. He has served at several universities in Pakistan and Finland. He has taught various courses and has supervised a number of undergraduate projects and postgraduate theses. He has authored more than 30 research publications and has presented his work in a number of international conferences. He is also a frequent reviewer for various international journals and conferences. Dr. Azad has received 5 research excellence awards and a best paper award.
