Purpose:

The purpose of this policy is to define the rules and regulations pertaining to issuance of “Certificate of Attendance” for the Degree Campus students at the Islamic Online University.

Policy Statement

Once a student has successfully completed the below listed number of courses or credit hours* under one or more undergraduate or postgraduate programs at the Islamic Online University, he/she may be eligible to receive a “Certificate of Attendance” if they have a medical issue or any other valid reason which requires them to withdraw from their studies permanently.

*Minimum required number of courses or credit hours to be eligible to receive a “Certificate of Attendance” under this policy are defined as follows:

The programs where this policy will be applicable are as follows:

Corollary: It is acceptable if the student was initially under one program and then had switched and completed some courses under another program. The “Certificate of Attendance” will state the program under which the student completed majority of his/her courses.

Benefits of the Policy

This policy will provide an opportunity for students to receive an acknowledgement for their studies as they partially completed their studies and are not eligible to receive a full degree/diploma/certificate yet and are obligated to withdraw from their studies for a valid reason.

Fees Structure

Fees for the hard copy of the Certificate of Attendance is $50.00 USD to cover postage charges and other additional costs.
