POLICY OF MAIS Admission Tests Protocol

Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to define the admission test protocol of MA in Islamic Studies at the Islamic Online University.

Policy Statement

Upon the first unsuccessful attempt, an MA applicant may reapply to appear for the MA in Islamic Studies program’s admission tests of Islamic Studies and Arabic after 3 months again.

Once the payment has been made for MA Admission Test(s), the applicant must attempt the test(s) within 2 months.

Points to Note
  1. The eligibility criteria that enable a student eligible to appear for the MA in Islamic Studies program’s admission tests of Islamic Studies and Arabic at the Islamic Online University are mentioned in IOU Policy # ST/001/2015.
  2. Both the Admission Test and Arabic Exemption Exam are fully online.
Procedure
  1. Applicants who need to reattempt the MAIS Admission Test (Islamic Studies) & Arabic Exemption Exam will pay the fees online or via local bank transfer.
  2. Upon receiving payment confirmation, applicant will be enrolled into the test(s) and attempt them.
  3. The applicants will be directed towards MAIS enrollment or Bridge Diploma to MAIS enrollment as applicable.
Benefits of the Policy
  1. It will provide the scope to reapply for MA admission to the applicants who have completed their undergraduate degree and have some basic knowledge of Islamic Studies; and thereby it will provide them the scope to complete their MAIS and gain higher understanding of Islamic Sciences.
  2. It will increase MAIS Admissions.
